There has been tonnes of times I have said to myself I will stop, if it hasnt been for one person its been for another. I just gave birth to a beautiful baby girl 8 months ago so now I really have something to stop for. I have to try to look after myself now because she needs her mum. It scares me to think what would happen if I was left alone with her and something happened to me, I love her so much.

My incentives are:
1) to be healthy and have energy
2) to be able to join in with the rest of the world. A lot of socialising involves eating! Get-togethers with colleagues tend to be at a restaurant, dates invariably involve food, eating is a time when people are relaxed and actually talk to each other, and it is a massive hurdle to relationships if you can't imagine letting your 'other half' cook for you or see your strange eating habits.

Yes...relationships!!
When i go through my "phase"..it causes friction between me and dp, i won't really cook and if he cooks i won't eat it, we don't go out as much...i hate it, he hates!!

OOOO incentives,
Well I have came to the conclusion that the only reason I can get better is if it is for me. I have to come to the realisation (hard though it is)that I am important. That will be a huge step for me.

But other things are
I want to have another baby
I want to get to a healthy weight
I want a normal relationship with food, not be paniced by it
I want to be able to function in everyday life
I want to stop thinking that everyone dislikes me
I want to buy clothes that are pretty, not just to cover my self with
I want to be a good example to my kids
I want to live to see my kids have kids etc
I want my diabetes to be controlled
I want to look after myself
I want to be happy
I want to live a forfilling life (what ever that may be)
I want to have the motivation to do stuff (this could be the depression)

O I WANT A LIFE

lol

love
Claire (over-eater for all my life. Bulimic 17yrs)
